We'll it's been a while hasn't it folks! I almost forgot how this thing works.. Just kidding it's simple enough.

If you have me on Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat you would know that I have been cooking up a new project and May 26 was the pilot for that project. My sister and I went LIVE on CJLO 1690 am as we broke the airwaves with our talk show The Trend. Tuesday nights Camille and I will be on air chatting away about various topics and issues that many of us see on the internet or even twitter and as time goes on there will be many surprises so continue to stay in the loop.

 

We both have different views on how our pilot show went. Camille thought it was a good start with some changes to be made, and me since I'm just hard on myself I thought it was a disaster. Yes I know its just the beginning and with time the show will get better and blah blah blah ... I've heard it all before. It just was not what I imagined our first show would be like. BUT I AM NOT DISCOURAGED, I just need to get into the groove of radio life.

The Juice Cup

Last night was The Juice Cup (a comedy show were #TeamAfrica goes head to head with #TeamWestIndies in three rounds) and to my surprise #TeamAfrica won! Obviously I was going for #TeamWestIndies because I follow two of the comedians on Instagram and there seemed actually funny. @wyardie and @majahhype. BUT to my surprise they didn't bring out their best jokes last night. 

It's funny how you see someone from videos and pictures and then when you see them in front of you they are different! White Yardie was short to my surprise and a little stubby!! Okay but White Yardie did his thing, his set was pretty funny. He told a funny story about the difference between Jamaicans and "the other guys" which are white people! Here's a snippet from him. 

Mahjah Hype on the other hand ..... Something was off about it him. Everyone who wanted to play music during their set had it all planned out with the DJ but not him. He told the DJ to play some soca but I don't know what was happening there, he waited for the DJ to play it but it wasn't happening then when the DJ finally got it he's like "don't fucking play it now, I'm over it" in a American accent. I think that may have slowed down his jokes. THEN he decided to bring out one of his characters Grandpa James and he still wasn't funny! His set actually made me a little sleepy LOL! I guess he's only gives good jokes within 15 seconds. Oh yes and another thing about him. After the show all the comedians came out to meet the fans but he was no where in sight and he has ___ followers duhhh people in Montreal would want to meet him. Anyways.

BUT TRIXX THOOOOO! I went there not knowing about Trixx but he had me laughingggggg non stop! In the second round I had to make a quick switch to #TeamAfrica!!! He came out on stage making jokes. All the other danced to the music a little as they came out but not him he told the DJ to shut that off, he came to work!! And he did put it work.  The best joke he gave was the one about, how skinny the dog are in Jamaica and when people pack barrels to send to Jamaica they should put some  dog food in the barrel. Man, he went on and on how skinny the dogs are but it was so funny! And at the end of his set everybody in the crowd was cheering and lots of people were standing up!! I believe that he really brought home the trophy for #TeamAfrica.

My highlight of the night was meeting my baby daddy Marlon. I would tell you his instgram name but I don't want non of you looking at his photo!

About Last Night

My boo at the Grammys

Chris Brown's tour Between The Sheets was supposed to make an appearance in Montreal on Tuesday February 24, 2015, but things look an unexpected turn. Yesterday I left my house just after 1:00 pm  to arrive at The Bell Center for 3:30 pm to be in time for Chris's sound check which was set to start at 4:00 pm. At The Bell Center about 10 fans aka #TeamBreezy waited in an unofficial lobby area called the Will Call Area. We waited there for about half an hour and watched security walk up and down doing nothing! So one impatient fan decided to approach one of the security guards to ask him what was going on, because it was 4:00 pm and there was still no action. After the security got over his rudeness he endeFd up telling him that Chris was running late and that there will be no more sound check possibly just a meet and greet. HOLD UP NO SOUND CHECK! At that point I made it very clear that I was switching my package and going for the meet and greet. We continued to wait and then 15 mins later all the securities guards who were doing nothing approach the doors and a lady in a suit came forward apologizing saying that the concert is cancelled. Even though she made it clear that there was no concert I still had to confirm. I asked if the show was postponed for later a date and she said "as far as we know the concert is cancelled" with the action of slitting her throat with her hands. Everyone was calm besides one girl who was sobbing and banging the door before she finally walked out. AND NO THIS GIRL WAS NOT ME!

I did what everyone else does when they hear the tea first, I made some phone calls telling my friends that our Tuesday turn up was cancelled. They didn't believe me and I still didn't believe the lady, I needed to hear it from Chris himself. Not long after he tweeted out two tweets which confirmed it all for me.

I'm not mad at Chris because I know he will make up for this and it will be even greater than what it was supposed to be the first time. Who I am mad at is ALL those radio stations who  weren't hyping up his fans for the concert throughout the day, but as soon as they heard the concert was cancelled they flooded the airwaves with their negativity. Ughhhhh that was my biggest issue last night because whenever an artist comes to Montreal Virgin Radio, The Beat, and CJAD would announce it a few times the day of and play some of their songs BUT NOOOOOOO NOT FOR CHRIS. They didn't say a word all day but when they got this bad news ooohhh man did they fly with it. It just wasn't right. Even you CTV coming to the Bell Center to capture fans reactions .. RUDE. The favouritism in this city with artists is just disgusting.

Don't even get me started on those memes ........ People did not waste any time to create memes with Drake. Why don't you do something more worth while like buying his latest album Fan of a Fan the Album.

Canadian Immigration had one job and they messed up and ruined thousands of peoples night especially those who flew into Montreal for this concert. But Chris needs to check if his lawyers and tour manager are really qualified because they should be prepared for situations like these. Evenko you're on the same boat too!

OHH YESS ! Another thing that erkkkkkked me is ALL THOSE NEGATIVE PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK who decided to write statuses last night. Some people were really sincere with there post while other people were just plain rude, and uneccessary. I have never seen Chris being talked about so much in one night on Facebook, too bad it wasn't something good.

To all the negative people Chris will be back, and I hope those who went to see Trey last night had a good time!

Rihanna & Chris

HAHA JUST JOKING! No they are not back together, but they both decided to release one of their newest music videos on the same day.

Rihanna can do no wrongs in my book, "that's bae right there"! Her voice, her body, her hair ... perfection! I'm always excited for what ever she does cause she's just so iconic. Early this morning (9:00 am) she dropped the video for FourFiveSeconds, which we were hearing all last week on the radio. This is one of Rihanna's first songs off her upcoming album R8. Notice how there is no features in this single, instead it says AND Kanye West AND Paul McCartney. Nobody wanted to be the underdog lol. The denim themed video is so simple that Kanye just couldn't handle the simplicity and had to wild out coming down towards the end of the video please pay close attention and laugh! The only thing that I don't like is the high pitch singing thats going on during Kanye's first verse. Also listen out for Rih Rih's accent when she says Days.

Chris Brown and Tyga finally released their 6 min video for Ayo today. To me it was a little too long but it was iight nothing spectacular about it besides seeing my boo. It seems like twins were the theme of this video, there was the French dancers, along with the girls fencing.. Mike Epps as the freaky policeman ... very interesting lol. There are two funny parts in that scene, I'll let you laugh at that. BUTTTTTT I can't wait to hear Chris and Tyga's album which is coming out on February 24, 2015 let's hope there is no set back in that! Fan of a Fan the album, keep an eye out for that one.

Two's a Couple, Three's a Scene

It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, this blog goes out to my cousin, Rob, who wants to know my thoughts on Chris Brown and his love situation. But hey, if you're a fan of Chris Brown, Karrueche, Drake, Rihanna or Plies then this is for you! You're probably like Plies who?? Of course you remember Plies, he's the one riding around in a hot pink Cadillac in the entire video of Bust It Baby Pt.2 

I love you Chris, don't get mad with what I have to say. I can't wait to see you on Feburary 24, 2015, and I'm already counting down! Now that I got that out of the way lets get down to business.

About a week agoooooo (please dance) Chris had one of his usual Social Media outbursts. This time he exposed some juiciness between him, Karrueche and our fellow Canadian, and October's Very Own Drizzy Drake! Can somebody please tell me why Drake is always caught messing around with Chris's girlfriends well ex, is there some type of subliminal contract between the two, where Drake has the right to date Chris's girls when he's done with them. First BadGalRiRi and now Karrueche, watch out Chris 'cause Drake is on a roll.



Some say that Chris was wrong for posting that but the way I look at it, who else is gonna tell us the truth within celebrity relationships not MediaTakeout (good starting point for rumors though), so might as well we hear it from Chris himself. Some things were uncalled for like the threesomes they had. The best part is that he called Karrueche out for only seeing him once while he was in jail. Like come on, going from seeing someone everyday to not seeing them at all that must of hurt his singing heart! My sweet Chris was upset. So I guess that's why she felt the need to throw him a 'Welcome Home' party!



Recently Karrueche  and her cousin Jen were in Toronto doing some acts of kindness by feeding the homeless and providing them with clothes. Perhaps this was one of the 'secret' trips that Chris was referring to. She probably killed two birds with one stone and met up Drake while she was in TO (like he's really there all the time...)


So Plies got into the mix when he tweeted out something that Chris thought was intended for him, so he replied to him with a low blow. After Chris responded to Plies, Plies claimed that the tweet was never for Chris, and he told him if the shoe fits he might as well rock it.

Back to Karrueche, that's the photo she posted during their break up. Her caption to that post stated how "happy" she is now, which I do not believe! She claimed to have all of a sudden found strength and happiness within herself to finally break up with Chris since he wasn't 'treating her right'. She also promised one of her fans that she would not go back with Chris ... We'll see about that. But according to Chris he was treating her very well and helped to boost her name Karrueche Tran, to where it is today.

As for Drake I'm still waiting for a single to drop to hear his response but he did mention that Chris was using him as a scapegoat in this triangle.

Don't forget that Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Tyga will be at the Bell Center in the New Year so go buy your tickets before it's sold out!

BUS FILES: Can you Crack the Window Pleaseeee !

Being able to smell is such a beautiful thing.... BUT ONLY IF WHAT YOU'RE SMELLING, SMELL GOOD. Like cologne or something, too bad that wasn't the case today. Let me describe to you my smelly bus rides today!

It  started from the morning which was so ironic. Before I left the house Camille was making eggs but she didn't have the fan on so, I said to her "let me leave before, I end up going to school smelling like fried food". So I left the house and when I got on the bus there was only one seat left on the 470 and what did the guy beside me smell like??? FRIED FOOD .. At least he got off a few stops after so I wasn't stuck with him unlike what happened this evening.

I got out of Cote-Vertu metro feeling happy, even though it was drizzling, it didn't bother me. I got in line for the 470 and as I was standing there a strong harsh scent just crept up into my nose. So I turned around and there was this tall guy standing right behind. I don't know if it was his perspiration or the scent of his house but oohhhh my goshhh it was terribly strong. I said to myself "its okay the bus is coming soon and you can get away from the scent." Soon after, the bus came so I got on and for some strange reason I was actually contemplating whether I should sit in my favorite spot or not. I should of listened to my gut feeling and sit somewhere else 'cause when I sat in my usual spot, guess who sat beside me... MR. STINKY. I was like "are you serious ... all these seats available and you sit beside me???" I really wanted to move places, but I took too long and the bus got full so I got stuck beside Mr. Stinky. I was so agitated and kept on moving, trying to find a way that I can block his rawness from touching my nose. So I figured that maybe I can ignore his smell by listening to some music or by trying to fall asleep. The scent was so warm and thick, it was just hanging around on the that my distraction tactics did not work. I couldn't take it anymore so I opened the window and he looked at me and I gave him such a dirty look. Mr. Stinky was having such a good bus ride, reading his 24 Heures while I was suffering and I'm sure other people were also bothered by it. I don't know if he thought he smelled good but, he had his head stuffed into his jacket inhaling his nastiness. ON TOP OF THAT at least I think it was him.. He added his natural scent with another natural scent ... yup .. gas.. Now that really got me mad, cause it was two scents fighting and non of them smelled good. I really just wanted to kick his shoe. Thankfully the bus got to Fairview and I was able to switches places across from him, he looked at me, moved over and then put is bag on the now empty seat beside him. All I wanted to yell out was "YOU SMELL" !

Ohhh what a smelly day! I hope tomorrow will be better!

Bus Files: Wake up

We have all had those longggggg and tiring days, and once you shut your eyes on the bus ... GOODNIGHT! I'm gonna admit it, sometimes I just can't wait to get on the 470, 'cause I know I'll get a good 30 mins nap/deep sleep. Recently I've been trying a new thing when I'm trying to fall asleep on the bus. Instead of sleeping with my head straight up, for it to bounce around and hit wall and the person next to me. I simply get a little cozy, bow my head down and rest it on my school bag and that avoids all the bouncing around! To all my fellow bouncing bus sleepers, you should try it. ANYWAYS enough about my sleeping habits, let's get into some stories.

So last week my sister, Camille got on the 470 and this guy, let's call him Da'quan. He pushed a lady so that he can sit beside Camille. I guess you can call Da'quan an aquitance. Remember on Hi5 and MSN, you would have "friends" on there that you wouldn't talk to in person, well he's one of them! So Camille was trying to get a good sleep on the bus but, she said Da'quan's leg muscles kept jumping and twitching so she wasn't able to sleep. Finally, she was able to ingnore his leg muscles and fall asleep. BUT the bus got to Fairview (where most people get off). Da'quan thinking that she's getting off the bus with him, roughly tapped her on her shoulder and said "we're at Fairview". Signaling her to get off. She woke up and said thank you. BUT she doesn't get off at Fairview, so she was so mad that he woke her up for nothing. Yes it was a nice gesture but it wasn't needed. The moral of the story is PLEASE do not wake somebody up UNLESS you are at the TERMINUS.

Since, I'm talking about sleep, my dad told me this really funny story that happen on the bus a few weeks ago. There was a middle aged lady, around 40-50 years old, sitting beside a male young adult maybe around 25 years old. They were both wide awake, and then all of a sudden the guy fell into a deep sleep, and his head was leaning all over the lady. Can you believe  the lady actually had the nerve to shove him awake and say "excuse me, can you stop that". My dad said the boy obviously woke up and said "oh sorry, sorry" You know us Canadians, we're always sorry! Can you believe the boy fell back asleep AGAIN and the lady woke him up AGAINNN saying the same thing!!! When my dad told me this story I wouldn't stop laughing! I think the lady eventually moved to a different seat. If I were that lady, I would have allowed the guy to lean on me and if I got annoyed, I would have slightly pushed him, but now wake him up! What the guy needed, was one of these to support his neck:
